In our collaborative “Biotensegrity – Anatomy for the 21st Century” workshop in Austin, I learned a lot too in co-teaching with Wendy!  I am always pleased to meet people who are really interested in biotensegrity and have a reasonable grasp, but don’t really understand it.  Wendy has a wonderful grasp of biotensegrity, and can do what few (in my opinion) can do and that is... translate biotensegrity into practical movement applications.

My experience working one-on-one with Wendy was life-changing. I came to the Core as Relationship workshop feeling stale, disconnected (both in body and spirit), and cynical.

In one private session during the workshop with Wendy, I was able to make connections in my body that I have been working on for years. Her tone, language, and demeanor inspired my movements and my teaching language. The subtlety and intuitiveness in her cueing and coaching produced profound reactions that were both deeply complex and obvious (and are already working wonders on my students).

It does not do Wendy's work justice to say that she has dramatically changed my approach to Pilates for the better; she restored my faith in myself as a classically trained Pilates instructor and re-inspired my respect for the magic that is Pilates and its ability to wholly affect every person uniquely. Her syllabus on core relationships and biointelligent movement takes Pilates to a whole new plane of evolution while still upholding the integrity and reverence of Joe's original work.
